OPFFA/ OFF.org promise Fire-Medic is best solution for all

A backlog at Emergency rooms in Ontario have created slower response times from paramedics in medical emergencies. In a campaign released by Ontario Fire Fighters Association, they propose a plan to alleviate this problem. OPFFA suggests allowing firefighters to respond to medical calls.  Close to 10 percent of firefighters already have some paramedic training.  Current provincial legislation restricts them from performing those duties.

Push to change legislation

This proposal should save money and more importantly save lives.
