A lot of people think about their mistakes and live a life of regret and self torture. Fear of making mistakes and failure causes people to make the worst mistake of all — that of doing nothing. Learn from your mistakes and become a better person, a better husband, a better employee, a better coach, a better student, a better teacher, a better writer, a better son, a better marketer, etc, this is what we call progress.

What’s the difference between responding or reacting? Let’s say you went to your local clinic and received the H1N1 (Swine Flu) vaccine. 24 Hours later you are splotchy with red spots, running a fever, and feeling like you just got hit by a Mack truck, so you head to the clinic. The doctor says, “You are having a reaction to the flu shot.”

As you dream, add visual aids to your itinerary. Like travel brochures that entice you to visit their featured destination, you can design your own brochure. Cut out pictures of your perfect home, car, body, vacation, office or trip. Put those pictures on your refrigerator, your bathroom mirror, the wall in your office … anywhere that you will see them often.

Remember, whether you are an inventor, a major league ball player, a hiker, a runner, or a marketer, one monumental success makes up for several temporary setbacks. The key is always to learn from your failures. When you use mistakes or failures as learning and growing experience rather than a defeat, you actually progress forward.

But a dream in order to fulfill must be pursued with enthusiasm, determination and passion. You have to do it because no one else will do it for you. This is just like physical exercise – you know it is good for you and you know you need to do it – the aerobics, calisthenics, stretching, weight-lifting, jogging, push-ups, etc. You have to do these exercises by yourself because it is not possible to pay anyone to do them for you.

Crying is a fairly normal response to fear of any kind, including fear of failure. Most children do it openly, but for adults, it’s usually best to do in private. It’s not for everyone and, like anger, it’s a cover for the primary emotion of fear. Crying can be cathartic, but after a good cry, you need to deal directly with the fear.

I have come to believe that nothing just happens. God knows everything. He uses nothing to make something. He takes us through the process of refinement and finally lands us to his Will, which brings out that success within.

In contrast, when you are living a “proactive” life, your days are on course with clear navigation, doing things that will lead you to your Big Ideas, Dreams, and Goals. Being “proactive” about your life is being conscious and thoughtful about how you spend your days. You are queen of your ship, with a well thought out map on where you’re going, what you’re going to do, and Brainwave Shots Reviews with whom you will do it.
