Dit deel is een leuke en ietwat bizarre manier om weer in de wereld van Doom Patrol te duiken. Giffen omarmt het vreemde volledig, en dat is precies wat dit team nodig heeft. De personages voelen gebroken, sarcastisch en vreemd genoeg menselijk aan, ondanks hoe bizar alles wordt. De mix van zwarte humor en grote kosmische dreigingen werkt goed. De verschijning van G’nort zorgt voor wat luchtigheid, terwijl de link met Blackest https://caspero-casino.nl/ Night het verhaal meer diepgang geeft. Het neemt zichzelf niet te serieus, maar er staat wel degelijk iets op het spel. Als je van eigenzinnige superhelden en verhalen die niet bang zijn om vreemd te worden houdt, is dit een aanrader.
